Children of the World Choir

Last night we saw the Children of the World International Children's Choir sing. This is a special group of orphaned and disadvantaged children from several different countries around the world. They are apart of this group due to famine, civil wars or HIV/AIDS. Some have lost one or both parents due to one of these reasons. Their performance last night was outstanding! It was incredible to witness them praising the Lord with such precious voices despite what they have seen and lived through in their short years. Sarah and Elizabeth both really enjoyed seeing and hearing them. Elizabeth was bouncing as hard as she could to the beat of their drums. Here are a couple pictures. Click here to learn more about this group of children and their worthy cause.

Aren't they sweet looking, dressed in their own country's cultural style of dress?

Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless.
Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed,
so mere people can no longer terrify them. - Psalm 10:17-18

Let us remember these little ones and pray for them and their families,
Until next time...
