Happy Fall Y'all!

Both girls are asleep in bed so I thought I would post a little weekend update! Both of our little pumpkins are tuckered out from our day trip to the mountains today! It was an absolutely beautiful day to be there! The leaves were so gorgeous! After a fun day of pumpkin hunting, apple tasting, and shopping we stopped off at the Mellow Mushroom for some early dinner. The Mellow Mushroom is a wonderful gourmet pizza spot in Boone as well as the Blowing Rock area. We had some delicious hummus on pita bread before our pizza! Elizabeth loved the tasty hummus spread! Last night we went to our local Oktoberfest. Sarah rode her 1st "ride". She was more than excited. Here she is riding the Choo-Choo Train with our neighbor, Cory.

She was all smiles the entire ride! :)

We've had a fun and busy weekend. Yesterday while Daddy was working I took the girls on a "nature" stroller ride. We searched for dogs, kitties, squirrels, colorful leaves, and acorns. Sarah especially loved finding and learning about the acorns. We brought some home and colored funny faces on them. Here is what our family would look like if we were acorns. :)
