"Ticky" Times

I guess Summer has officially arrived for us due to the number of ticks we are coming across here in Hickory. Thankfully the girls have NOT experienced any yet!! However, I have pulled 7 off our dog "Lucy" in the past 5 days. I keep a pair of tweezers in our kitchen ready for her every time she comes in off the back patio. At playgroup this morning some of the other moms were expressing the same concerns. Our neighbor across the street has found a couple in their house. So, keep on the watch for sure!!! They are really out there this summer waiting and ready to bite!
I told "Lucy" she must be pretty tasty! :)
